Sharon Latson Flemister is a highly experienced professional in the field of marketing and communications.With a career spanning over 30 years, she has worked in various capacities, both as a consultant and within organizations, for both corporate and non-profit sectors.
Eight years ago, Sharon made a career transition and focused her efforts on communication activities within the construction trades industry.
She has played a vital role in the development and implementation of effective marketing and promotional procedures specific to this industry. Her expertise has been instrumental in driving successful media relations efforts, social media strategies, funding campaigns, and branding initiatives, all with a strong emphasis on promoting diversity and inclusion within the construction field.
She has actively championed community outreach initiatives aimed at increasing the representation of women and people of color in construction.
Through her efforts, she has sought out and nurtured industry partnerships to support and advance these goals.
Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from Columbia College and a Master of Science degree in Communications from Northwestern University.

Ebba boasts an extensive background in the Chicago construction industry, encompassing diverse roles across eight years.As a previous Union Carpenter, they played a pivotal role in establishing the Chicago Sisterhood of Carpenters, co-chaired the Tradeswomen Council for Chicago Women in Trades, and served as a Workforce Coordinator.
Ebba's expertise lies in mentoring, building community leadership, outreach, recruiting, and fostering connections within the Tradeswomen's Community.
Their inclusive approach extends to cultivating constructive relationships with contractors and industry stakeholders, promoting workforce talent connections, advancing apprenticeship initiatives, and implementing transformative bid requirements.
In addition to their industry experience, Ebba holds a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts/Photography from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA, and possesses proficiency in editorial writing, graphic design, videography, and software engineering.
